Edinburgh is home. “Chess & strategy” is the short version of my weekends; the long version is easier to explain over a coffee than in a paragraph.
Straightforward, a bit sarcastic, and genuinely kind when it counts. I do not play games and I am not very good at pretending to be cooler than I am.
I want someone comfortable in their own life with a bit of room in it for someone else. No grand gestures needed — showing up counts for far more.
A first date should be short and easy: a coffee, a walk, or a drink somewhere in Edinburgh we can actually hear each other. If it goes well we stay out; if it does not, no harm done.
